- The wean to finish dividers provide maximum flexibility to use the same feeder over the life span of the animals.
- Sight guards provide a visual block for swine to reduce stress during feeding. Smidley’s sight guards are made of stainless steel and welded to the frame for durability. The sight guards are rounded on the ends for optimal safety.
- The spacers, in the wet/dry feeder design, prevents condensation on the feeder surface. Keeping condensation away from the feeder then prevents feed from building up on inside of the feeder, reducing maintenance for personnel.
